Elderflowers Break Fevers

Elderflowers are a natural diaphoretic, this is important because if you catch a fever it will help to break it by inducing the body to sweat and release heat.

I'mmUnity's Organic Elderberry Oxymel  utilises elderflowers with suggested guidelines for personal use.

If there is a fever, a very strong tea made with only elderflowers should be implemented with this [Oxymel] until the fever breaks. Usually two strong cups back to back will break the fever.

Dosage Expertise

Saysun Medicine's recommended "robust" dosage of at least 4-5 Tbsp of of elderflowers to break fevers or relieve symptoms has worked out the most effective for customer experiences!

How to use and directions

Simply pour boiled water over a teabag of elderflowers and let it steep for 5-10mins. ( I like to use organic tea bags made from wood pulp)

Alternatively fill your teapot with water and elderflowers and and bring it to steep for 10-15 mins. DO NOT BOIL ELDERFLOWERS as they are delicate and it'll burn away their goodies!

Some people like to steam elderflowers in water and breath it in deeply for 15-20mins.

Respiratory Healing

In assistance to breaking fevers, elderflowers alleviate respiratory issues and infections for healing by thinning mucus to easily clear it out. By easing irritations and relieving pressure it allows airways to open up from the lungs, upper chest and throat for improved breathing and circulation!

Medicine for Fever Symptoms and Sinus relief

Elderflowers work as an effective decongestion to support drainage and reduce nasal and sinus swelling through anti-catarrhal and anti-inflammatory properties that relax affected tissues. By allowing fluids to drain they work to release blockages around your head and pressure behind the eyes which helps to clear headaches
